Focused creative apps for clips, footage and sound
Pika’s current Create platform brings video, image and audio tools together in a collection of focused apps. Video Studio can build a short clip or a multi-shot video from reference material, while other apps handle individual tasks such as changing a scene, relighting media or producing a soundtrack. The platform combines Pika’s own models with third-party models and supports both automatic model selection and a direct choice. This gives creators a broad set of options without requiring a separate subscription for every model.
Pika 2.5 provides a more specific route to animation. A text-only prompt creates a five-second clip; a reference image supports five or ten seconds. Frames mode animates between two to five ordered images, allowing the sequence to follow a series of visual references. Most configurations support 720p or 1080p, but five-keyframe sequences render at 720p. Pika 2.5 itself produces silent video, so soundtrack creation remains a separate step. Those limits describe this model rather than every video app on the platform.
Editing apps extend the service beyond new clip generation. Swap Anything changes the appearance of people, props or environments in existing footage. Motion Transfer uses a character image and a movement clip; Extend Video adds footage after a clip’s final frame. These are useful options for short social assets, concepts and variations, but commercial publishing requires the right plan. The current Free and Starter tiers omit commercial licensing even though they remove watermarks. Creator and Fancy include commercial use, with higher credit allowances and more concurrent generations.

Limitations
Free includes no monthly generation credits; packs are purchased separately. Free and Starter do not include commercial use.
