Two creation modes for websites and web applications
Hostinger AI Builder combines conventional website editing with conversational app creation. In Manual mode, AI generates a site that can be adjusted with drag-and-drop controls, with tools for text, images and product descriptions. Agentic mode takes a broader app-building approach: prompts describe pages and functionality, while the code editor exposes the generated files for direct changes. Both modes create browser-based experiences. Responsive layouts work on mobile screens, but the builder does not produce native iOS or Android apps for the app stores.
Agentic projects can include an integrated backend for user accounts, forms, uploaded files and automated email. The current service allows up to 5 GB of storage and 500 automated emails per day per project. It supports password sign-in, email login codes and third-party sign-in providers. This backend is configured for new projects that use it from the start; older projects connected to Supabase cannot simply switch across. Payments still require a service such as Stripe or PayPal, even when authentication and data storage are handled within Hostinger.
Source export offers some flexibility, but it is not a complete migration of a running app. Agentic projects export React and Vite source in a Node.js project, excluding the integrated backend’s stored data. The service currently provides no direct export tool for that data, and externally edited source cannot be imported back into the builder for continued prompting. Paid plans combine hosting with a small one-time AI credit gift. The low advertised monthly prices represent four-year introductory commitments, making the upfront total, renewal rate and additional credit costs central to the actual price.

Limitations
The advertised introductory rates require 48 months paid upfront and renew at higher prices. Included AI credits are one-time gifts. Agentic code export excludes integrated backend data, which currently has no direct export tool; cancellation or an unrenewed expiry permanently deletes that data. Exported code cannot be reimported for continued prompting. Ecommerce and third-party payments can add costs.
