Create 3D assets through Tencent’s hosted service or cloud API
Tencent’s hosted global service creates assets from descriptions and visual references. Its studio brings generation and refinement into the same workspace. A current consolidation notice moves the earlier separate Smart Topology and Sketch tools into studio modules for geometry, retopology and texture painting.
Tencent Cloud provides a separate professional API with 3.0 and 3.1 model choices. Inputs, geometry targets and material options depend on the selected version. Version 3.1 adds more reference angles, while some lower-poly and sketch parameters remain tied to other routes.
API billing is based on credits rather than a fixed price for a finished asset. Prepaid packs, an introductory allowance and optional pay-as-you-go have different validity and activation conditions. Added views, material choices and processing steps can change consumption.
The downloadable Hunyuan3D 2.1 release is separate from the current hosted service. It includes shape and texture models that require suitable hardware. Its community license excludes the EU, UK and South Korea and has additional large-scale commercial conditions; those terms should not be substituted for the hosted service’s agreement.

Do 1,000 API credits mean 1,000 models?
No. Each generation and processing operation consumes credits according to its settings. The prepaid pack records a credit balance rather than a model count.
Does prepaid API credit expire?
The international billing guide gives purchased packs a one-year validity. The introductory free allowance also has a one-year limit.
